Practical- Web visuals.

Before starting to code the website I found it good practice to re create the scamp ideas which I had designed in a digital format. This way it will allow me to have a good idea of what the finished product should look like. At this stage I am still working on producing the final alphabet so for this I have used existing fonts that appear to be printed so that it would achieve a similar visual to what mine would eventually look like.

My first attempts for the visuals were shocking and immediately could see that I needed to re work but still keep the central navigation as feel this is the best option. Somewhere where the audience can directly see and use with ease as always would be present in same location on each page. I wanted the site to look more sophisticated and simplified so that the font would stand out and be highly legible but also to reduce the time which it would take to recreate in printed format as at this stage I am really running out of time.

The second lot of visuals which I produced I was much happier with and confident that they would allow the font to stand out. Choice of colours also works out well and gives that clinical/technical look I was hoping for that refers directly to technology and not the mess and heavily decorated letterpress printing machine.
